Indoors and Outdoors with The McDonalds

It was the best of both worlds for my photography session with the McDonald Family.  

The opportunity to take photos in the comfort of your home, where the photos can mean so much more because they are taken in your own personal space, and then also outdoors where everyone can relax and enjoy spending time together, is absolutely ideal.  It gives a wide range of variance in the photos and there is a natural 'break' to the session while everyone moves from one location to another.

Summer and Brook are gorgeous kids, willing to co-operate with pretty much everything we asked of them.  By the end of it, Summer was getting so into things, she was directing the rest of the family! (maybe a budding photographer for the future!)  

Although it was a little drizzly on my way to them, the weather had cleared by the time we head outside and it turned out quite bright.  I adored catching the last remnants of Autumn with the structure of the bare trees and colourful fallen leaves.  Just beautiful.
