MOSI Manchester Museum of Science and Industry - Lifestyle Photography

MOSI 1.jpg

With our fairly rubbish, cold and wet weather at the moment, I thought that taking the kids somewhere indoors would be a good idea.  I'm always itching to get out of the house and document some life!

The Manchester Museum of Science and Industry was ideal.  Loads to see, including plenty that the kids were interested in (planes, trains and automobiles), lots of space for them to explore, presentations and interactive 'experiments'.  No shortage of photo opportunities for me, so I was, of course, very happy and conditions kept me on my toes - change in light from indoors to outdoors and around the different areas of the buildings meant I was pretty much constantly changing my settings.

Three hours in and we were all starting to tire even though we'd pretty much skipped past some exhibits.  We didn't think we'd make it to the building across the road, but it was the kids' suggestion that we at least have a 'little look' since we'd made the journey and they were thrilled by the planes in another great building with area upstairs to take your picnic.  We'll definitely be going back.

Here's a selection of photos from our day.
