Photography Projects 2014 - May

My 365 and A Year in Song - May 2014

I really need to blog last month's projects before this month gets really busy!  Lots of photo work going on at the moment and coming up.  I hope I can keep up with my personal projects in June!

My 365

I've still not missed a day on My 365 yet and at nearly half way through the year, I hope I can see it through and have a full 365 photos chronicling my year.

I was lucky enough to have one of my photos featured by My 365 during May.  It was one of Jorja baking with her great-grandma, posted for the tag #tradition.  I know I'll treasure this photo in years to come.  Here's the uncropped photo:-

You can follow my daily postings on Instagram here. Here are all of the My 365 photos from May:-

A Year in Song - 52 Week Project

Continuing with the 52 week 'A Year in Song' project has inspired me to think more about the links between music and my photos.  I am starting to find that some photos remind me of certain songs and I sometimes can see a clear link between some favourite lyrics of mine and a photo I've taken.  Being inspired by music feels completely natural and I'm hoping to continue finding those links with my photography.

Here are the weeks of May, with the lyric underneath:-

"What do you see when you turn out the light?" from 'With a Little Help From My Friends' by The Beatles

That's it for May.  Hope you all have a fun and sunny June!
