New Year's Eve around Tittesworth Reservoir
I intended to post these sooner, but it's been a busy start to 2015 and I got sidetracked. It's been a while since I've blogged photographs from a day out with my 2 kids and I love this set of images.
It was a beautiful winter day. Snow still covered the ground that had come down on Boxing Day, the sky was mostly clear and the low winter sun glistened for most of our walk. I offered the kids the option of the short, 1 mile, walk or the longer 4 1/2 mile walk all the way around the reservoir and they were really eager for the long walk so off we went even though I knew they'd be flagging towards the end. They well deserved a treat in the visitor centre cafe afterwards. I will remember it fondly - probably the best way to spend the last day of 2014.
