You Are Here
Around a month ago, I posted on here about research and rehearsals for a very special performance, 'You Are Here'. At the time, I had photographed the process from initial thoughts to final preparations, carefully orchestrated and managed by Restoke. I was eagerly looking forward to photographing the show.
Wow, I was not disappointed! The transformation of the rooms at The Wedgwood Institute with set design by April Dalton and lighting by Daniella Vickerstaff was incredible and completely changed the mood of the rooms to suit the different stories told, as well as providing an absolute feast of photo opportunities. The performance was wonderful, thought-provoking and emotional. I absolutely loved it and the stories told will stay with me for a long time.
Getting to know the performers and everyone involved made me feel part of a very special community full of inspiration, care and mutual respect. It was an experience that I'll never forget.
